I've just been handed a friends new mp3 player, as she's having trouble copying songs onto it. Its a 2Gb unbranded jobby, with the usual FM tuner and all that. Anyway, copied a load of songs over, but suddenly its not accepting any more. 723Mb used of 1.91Gb according to explorer, and there's 172 files on it.
The files play ok, but trying to copy more onto it gives a 'Cannot copy x: The file or directory could not be created' error. But I can delete a file from it, and upload a different one.
I'm guessing that Mr Cheap and Cheerful is defective, but I'd like a second opinion before I tell her she should ask for a replacement.
