MP3 player thats lost its partition

have you checked the manufacture tools? also are you sure its lost its partition and not become software locked? have a look at the software that came with it as i know mine looked all funny when i locked it some how. (windows didnt want to open the partition)
 
no it got wiped when left plugged into the USB socket and I tried to wipe my HDD partition and deleted the partition on the UDB drive(usignt he windows xp setup). Problem is the setup program wont repartition the drive, if i try to boot from the drive
