ok this is really annoying me, i want a new mp3 player, of a decent size, video playback and not a brick!

i'm tempted by the ipod classic 80gb but i just hate itunes, i was looking at the new zune but it still looks pretty big.

any other suggestions of decent ones around atm that arn't bricks and look alright

EDIT: i think i remember seeing a programme that let you use wmp for your ipod instead of itunes, is this true and anyone got a link?

size comparison for you between a zune and ipod...

is that the zune 2 though?

I got the New zune (80gb one) for xmas, and i must say, its rather small imo. Same size as the ipod only much bigger screen and no Itunes

Zune 2 = 0.58inch thick (30GB) and 0.5inch thick (80GB) -- weird that the bigger HDD is thinner Edit: 30GB is apparently Zune 1... thus thicker.

iPod 6th Gen = 0.41inch thick (80GB) and 0.53inch thick (160GB)

hmm, that is quite nice, just it's just the fact that it's a little bigger than the ipod that puts me off tbh

Their is the Archos 605 30gb or 60gb. brilliant players, my cousing bought the 2gb cersion with a 16gb flash card and picture quality is brilliant at 480.

na, are they not massive like?

my suggestion is wait a couple of days, CES08 starts on Saturday, should be worth the wait .
