I have a sony NW-A3000 and unfrotunately I had to reformat a drive and was unable to save all my music. 
Do any programs exist (specifically for the NW-A3000 or otherwise) that enable mp3 player to computer transfer as the NW-A3000 apparantly does not on it's own.
