Mp3 tagging software.

Not sure if this fits here but..........

I'm looking for software to rename mp3s on my computer using an online database.

Does anyone know any programs that would do this.

musicbrainz picard is pretty cool once you work out how to use it

I highly recommend http://www.softpointer.com/tr.htm

Worth the license fee if you are working with a lot of MP3s.
Does some cool renaming with character matching and stuff.
Also does a lookup against a popular website as well as the freedb stuff to get covers or track listings.

The most versatile MP3 tagging application I have ever used, and I have to do it a lot. Best part is it's open-source and free forever.

Does tags, renaming, automated functions etc. Everything in one package, with a clean interface.

just downloaded that, and it's excellent thanks! to think i used to rename all tracks by hand, and change the capitalisation of words as well.

There are a thousand and one tagging programs but I like that one too. Does a good job in extracting data from file names and working on large sets of files.
