MP3 Volume Adjuster

Hi Chaps,

I'm looking for a free app that will allow me to change the volume level of my MP3 collection in order to avoid any dips or loud roars when I've got media player running.

Also looking for a programme that will allow me to trim any wasted seconds of nothingness at end of some of my tracks. I used to have one that allowed me to zoom in to a depiction of the sound waves and trim away to hearts content but sadly I lost it when my old drive got fried.

Any help is appreciated.

I've tried Mp3Gain on my mp3 collection and it seems to have worked pretty well. I changed the default setting of 89.00 to 98.00 instead.
Then I run the Track analysis then the track gain.

add everything to foobar and apply replaygain data.... simplest way I know.
