MP4 Converter needed...

I need a good MP4 converter to convert from .AVI to .MP4 and .FLV to .MP4 but when I convert at the min, I lose all the quality on my Samsung i8910 HD and I want it to keep the quality...

which progs do people recommend?

Handbrake should do you nicely.

another vote for handbrake, i use it for apple tv conversions and ps3.

never had a problem with it. i'm not sure if it does mkv files tho

It does, there's a drop down on the main tab to select the container format.

handbrake is indeed awesome.

I use handbrake for mp4 and mkv
I use autogk for xvid (or I manually do them in virtualdub + ffdshow)
