anyone know of a freeware mp4 converter that i can use to convert avi files to mp4 - in full?

i was using that but it seems to convert fine and then the file wont upload to itunes and i cant play it in quicktime... something about a foreign atom in the file or something
any ideas?

seems like a good program, but on default settings it seems to be taking about a week to convert a 700mb file
