Hi...
I'm wanting to buy a digital tv reciever for my laptop (usb2 preferrably) but I want to be fussy and get one that can record straight into mpeg4. I've been looking and there are so many contradicting ads...some say mpeg 1/2/4 but others say the same product only records in mpeg2 and some say analogue recording in mpeg 4 (would this mean only analogue tv can be recorded in mpeg4?)
I know there are more expensive products that do this but I'd be abit annoyed if a cheaper one does it.
I'm looking to spend less than £50 and I think one of the Freecom products does what I want but I can't tell for sure.
Anyone have a clue....is it just a matter of having the codecs installed and changing an option?
Cheers
