Well I'm hoping this is a really simple fix and I'm just being a bit dimm, but this has bugged the hell out of me for a while now.

Basically, if I click on a video link to an MPG video, a new tab will open with the QuickTime player attempting to stream the MPG. I would prefer it launched Windows Media Player.

Any ideas?

Uninstalling QuickTime isn't an option :), so I'm hoping I can just change the file association or something.

In the File Types in Quicktime player, just have the Quicktime file types ticked, and untick everything else, and in File Types in WMP, make sure everything is ticked, also check media settings in your browser's options for anything related, and see if that sorts it. :)

Thanks for the suggestion :). Unfortunately I've already checked the file associations within each application, and it hasn't made a blind bit of difference.
