Mr Sheen, Multi Surface, Polish Dust Trap is awesome to clean the Boogie Bug XL.
Makes it look brand new, removes all dirt and leaves a nice glide for the mouse.

That is all :)

Thanks for the heads up on this. I normally use a brush on mine, but it only removes some of the buildup. Will have to try this.

Yes, that is the one. I use any cloth that is around, but I suppose a lint free one is the best.

I hold the can quite high above to mat and give a gentle spray of its length, then just wipe it over until its practically dry.

Well, what can i say. It works a treat, brings it up like new, and my G500 is moving a lot quicker, gonna have to turn the dpi down a bit.:D

Excellent, i will add it to Mrs Plec's shopping list - although i expect she'll be very non-plussed when i ask for furniture polish.

I can imagine the conversation:

Code:
Mrs Plec: Do you actually know what this is used for?

Plec: Yes. I've been reliably informed it's used for cleaning 'mouse mats'

ACTION: Mrs Plec does a rude gesture in the direction of Mr Plec.

Lol, when you start asking her for her stockings to "use as fan filters", therell be more than a rude gesture mate.:D My mouse mat looks very nice now, almost shamed myself into cleaning the rest of my desk, (it looks like a tip tbh), started to break out in a sweat at the prospect. So i sat down, took a deep breath and decided, it'll be fine till tomorrow.:)

Hehe, I know what you mean.

However, I’m like the ‘Underpants Gnomes’ from South Park – I look through her drawers (literally in this case) and nick the pair of stocking (with the most suitable denier for trapping dust and letting in sufficient air) that look past their best.

One day I’m going to get caught in the act and I hope to Christ that I have a rig with a working example of cut-up stockings in it - so I’m not stood there, with a pair of her stockings in one hand, and thermal paste in the other looking like a man searching desperately for the right excuse…

Don’t feel bad – I have documents and reports all over my desk – with computer parts acting as pseudo paper weights. I even have an AKASA Freedom Tower sat by my monitor trying its hardest to look like a desk ornament (in the right light it almost pulls it off.)

Lol, will certainly need a great explanation when that one happens.:D

I used to keep my desk pretty neat, but after my hdd fiasco, i ended up with a myriad of cables and other assorted bits and bobs that i forgot to put away, desk as it currently looks.

That doesn't look too bad - although the 'gloss paintbrush' looks a bit out of place. Nope, no it doesn't - i've just peeked at your bio... :)

Having said that i have a psychedelic toy dragon that's been left ontop of my printer. My little one must have forgot about it while she was busy pulling wads of paper out of my printer tray for drawing...

I'll charge up my camera and if i remember i'll post a pick of my desk up tomorrow - then you wont feel so bad. ;)

^ i'd never have an open rig under my desk, dust build up and what if your foot slips? :p

You get used to it when you're pulling your rig apart - time and time again. Either through experimentation or necessity…

During my ABIT/T-Bird days the side hardly ever touched the side of my case. I still don’t know whether i enjoyed the challenge/experience of that board or that i was just glad to be rid of it. I'm surprised that my foot didn't slip on purpose, through a subconcious involuntary action… :/
