MR2 Turbo driving guides?

I just got back from a nice little drive where I met some other Jap imports that I had a play with. One was an Impreza Turbo of some sort and the other a Mitsi FTO, there was also a Punto and I think the owner thought mine was an N/A as he tried to floor it past me when two lanes opened up ahead of us. Needless to say he didn't succeed!

I was giving the car some beans and trying to be as smooth as possible with the brake and accelerator and I must say it is actually very nice to handle at speed. The FTO didn't stand a chance, which is to be expected and I was probably a little faster than the Scoob but he seemed like a bit of a careless nutter driver and I didn't want to push it too hard against him.

Mate ive had 2 MR2 Turbos now, 1 being a H reg rev1 and the other a M reg rev3. I must admit my rev3 was sooooo much nicer to drive and much more involving, the engine is so much pokier 2. I had mine running 320bhp and boy was it quick... Yes you will have to learn how to drive the car properly in the wet as that is the most demanding time, in the dry you'd have to be an absolute tit to lose it. But i have had many hairy moments when the backend all of a sudden lets loose and your doing a banked corner at 50mph and then having to catch it, but smoothly otherwise its like a pendulum and can end up fluffing it. But i must admit one of the most rewarding cars to drive to date, and i have had loads of fast mental cars. I now own an EVO4 which is the opposite to the MR2, but i wish i didnt need the back seats or the room as much otherwise id still have mine. :D

really watch it in the wet!! and always keep two hands on the steering wheel even when taking it easy, that how i lost mine :( lovely car though, i want another one1!!
