I last built a PC about 5 years ago so I haven't kept up with the hardwear improvements over the years. I am enjoy FS but i believe my current build is not enough for the new MFS so have wimped out and am looking at the likes of Competitor info removed
To cut a long story short this is what i have come up with:-
CORSAIR iCUE 220T RGB AIRFLOW MID TOWER GAMING CASE
Processor (CPU) AMD Ryzen 7 3700X Eight Core CPU (3.6GHz-4.4GHz/36MB CACHE/AM4)
Motherboard ASUS® TUF X570-PLUS GAMING (USB 3.2 Gen 2, PCIe 4.0, CrossFireX) - ARGB Ready!
Memory (RAM) 32GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR4 3000MHz (2 x 16GB)
Graphics Card 8GB AMD RADEON™ RX 5700 XT - HDMI, DP - DX® 12
1st Storage Drive 1TB PCS 2.5" SSD, SATA 6 Gb (520MB/R, 470MB/W)
2nd Storage Drive 512GB PCS 2.5" SSD, SATA 6 Gb (520MB/R, 450MB/W)
1st M.2 SSD Drive 500GB SAMSUNG 970 EVO PLUS M.2, PCIe NVMe (up to 3500MB/R, 3200MB/W)
Power Supply CORSAIR 650W RM SERIES™ MODULAR 80 PLUS® GOLD, ULTRA QUIET
Power Cable 1 x 1 Metre UK Power Cable (Kettle Lead)
Processor Cooling PCS FrostFlow 100 RGB Series High Performance CPU Cooler (AMD)
Thermal Paste ARCTIC MX-4 EXTREME THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY COMPOUND
Sound Card ONBOARD 6 CHANNEL (5.1) HIGH DEF AUDIO (AS STANDARD)

Have I gone a little overboard? I do want to run it at the higher spec that MS recommend.

Any pointers as to whether i need to tone down areas would be appreciated.

My current spec:-
ASUS P8Z68-VLX
Intel 2500K
ATI Radeon HD 5670 GPU
PSU 450W
Loads of SSD!

Cheers

That lot is about 1500 so would like to see if any refinements would bring it down a bit, I may have overdone the cpu or graphics perhaps.

Thanks, Journey. That has given me food for thought. I will look at them building it as I want it right. I like the look of the Corsair Carbide cases, (bit toned down).
