We have a MS 2003 R2 Ent two Node cluster, that we want to extract the cluster config, for all of the shares, and information sotres, and the like, is there an easy way to dump the config ???

No "Easy" way i'm aware of. You could dump out some of the info from HKLM\Cluster in the registry but I doubt that's everything you'd need.

As mentioned here thats the best way to back it up but the cluster is not designed to be backed up as its a cluster!

The Windows 2008 cluster migration tool can document and give you info from a 2003 cluster without actually migrating

This statement isn't quite true, a MSCS cluster configuration is supposed to be backed up, you should have a regular backup of the system state on each node and a backup of the Quorum disk.

what do you use to backup the quorum disk? The system state is easy to backup but when you have many nodes to each cluster its hard to see them all going down?

I was not aware that the system state also backed up the cluster config as a cluster config on one would change them all.

I'm sure if you have a backup of your cluster config, you should never need to backup the Quorum as it can easily be recreated with config details.

I dont want a backup of that, that is hadnled by BE 12.5.

I want to do a full export of the config of all the shares, and such for DR purposes, as it may be quicker to re-add the shares than restore from the tapes. When you factor in the catalog time, and restore time.
