Hi

I have a column of figures in an Excel worksheet that are 90% GBP (£) and about 10% USD ($) entries - I don't want to delete the $ entries for traceabilities sake but they are just a duplicate of the £ entry immediately above - (actually a currency conversion, £ to $) but my formula is adding everything in the column to give a total, the additional $ entries are obviously giving a false total - is there any way I can tag these entries (are they called cells ?) to not be included/counted ? Sort of like, "Greyed out" visible but not counted ? The formula I am using is simply =SUM(G:G) where G is the column I am totalling.

Thanks

Hi

Yes the currency is shown in a different column and your formula works perfectly it appears, great, thanks very much !
