I am looking at Implementing a mail server into our office environment. Our key requirements are:

Centralised mail handling/distribution,

Centralised contact management

Centrally stored calendars available on multiple terminals.

Web based access to emails off-site.

Are there any Linux alternatives that can accomplish all of this?

Thanks in advance.

You could run groupwise on Novell's SLES ? Groupwise 7 is actually pretty nice, much much better than when we last used it (Groupwise 3 or 4?).

We had management asking for MS Exchange, they simply wanted it because of the things it can do (all this centralised malarky). We dont have a single windows server on the network (apart from 1 SANFS management console) and didn't really want to have to get and maintain one. So to that end we're looking into Groupwise seeing as we already have lots of Netware and SuSE servers (and desktops) it would seem perhaps a logical choice...
