MS IntelliExplorer 3.0 Replacement

Firstly, thanks for the new section

Now to the dilemma...

After many years of faithful service my MS 3.0 has started to die. I love its shape, weight and overall performance it has provided. As such, I now need a new replacement and would like recommendations from people that have been in a similar position as me.

Right now I am looking at the Razer Deathadder 2013....I would welcome thoughts from anyone that has used this or the older gen Razers. My concerns is the sensitivity / position of buttons...are they that much of a pain to get used to?

Please note, I have used a Xai in the past and it really wasn't for me due to the shape.

Thanks Gee - I have found some comparison photos (EC1 vs MS 3.) via google and you are correct they look VERY similar from side, back and top

I think the EC1 might be a winner - now to decide Glossy or Black ...Glossy I guess is closest to the MS 3.0?

Given it a week now and I must say I am impressed. Comfortable and smooth, as you would expect from a product of this quality & value

My only thoughts are this:

- The mouse wheel in windows feels a bit clunky compared to MS IE 3.0. It seems to not detect it if I scroll too fast

- I went for the black version which is rubber and I would say it's OK grip wise. I am a palm player so its not really an issue but its worth thinking about if you were to go for the glossy one.

Overall pleased with the purchase, thank you all for your input
