MS Office "Help" misbehaving

Until recently "Help" (or pressing F1) worked but now when I open Help in any MS Office 2000-SP3 app. the icon places itself on the task bar and will not maximse / restore - all I can do is close it!

Any suggestions to rectify this problem please?
