MS Points and purchasing full games

I've noticed that you can buy games on GFWL on the PC using MS Points. Have MS enabled this on Xbox Live at all? Before anyway states why would you want to buy a full game on Xbox live, I am merely asking a quesion, not would I!

Was portal a full retail game e.g. Mass Effect, Dead Rising etc or an XBLA game like Trials 2 HD?

seems cheaper to buy them in a shop though lol.
batman AA is 29.99 to download , i bought it the other day brand new for 19.99 for my son out of a highstreet store, they are all for real money but i know some can be bought with points.

Indeed it is often cheaper, but unfortunately the country I am currently in is quite expensive for new games and if I could use points, like on GFWL then it would work out a lot cheaper.
