It's based on .NET and therefore has more capabilities than Flash.
I expect that within 1-2 years it will begin to displace Flash and within 5 years, who knows...![]()
Might as well. I haven't had any problems with it and you shouldn't notice it unless you visit some Silverlight enabled site.Hmmm..it's appeared as a Windows Update option (though dated a few weeks back, weird how it's only come up now).
Not sure whether to bother getting it or not..
Silverlight 2.0 is much more than Flash, you can write in any .NET language such as C# run it as a web app. I think the Beijing Olympics website will be making use of it.
That Silverlight one is OK but I haven't really noticed anything better on Microsoft.com.I must admit, MS sites are getting very pretty of late
