MS Teams and noise cancelling

Does anyone use Teams and noise cancelling headphones? My Bose QC20 II work absolutely fine with Window, and when using them with (eg) Spotify the noise cancelling works well. However, when a Teams call starts, the noise cancelling seems to switch off, which is frustrating as I can then hear upstairs' building work while on calls. I've also tried with another set of noise cancelling headphones (Jabra 85t) and the same thing happens.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Have you tried disabling the noise suppression in the Teams client? From what a colleague told me that sorted it for her.

your set up probably have bluetooth aduio profile for "music etc" but "head set" profile for communication. In most headsets, headset profile audio quality is much lower than that of normal music profile. this is not windows or bose thing per se.
