MS Vista multiple GPU Hotfix

Interesting find. At first glance I thought this might have been a hotfix that was released last year which fixed problems with Bioshock, but the release date for this one is only a few days ago.
 
can't realy take credit as I found it on Rage3d forums - but I thought it would be of interest to the guys on here :)

no real responses to whether it has fixed anything

but interesting none the less
 
could this be some of the reason the X2 gets different benchmark results from different reviewers ?

some reviewers could well have installed beta SP1

some may not ...

how you finding the 3870x2 please ? I'm interested as mine still say in the box - partly because I'm too tired to drag my PC out and install and partly as I wonder whether to keep it or send it back :) 7 days to decide :)
 
Just got it in and working unfortunatly - my hard drive decided to die whilst I was installing the X2.

Not sure if i'll get chance to get some benchmarks done tonight, but i'll certainly get some done tomorrow.
 
Interesting find. A review of the card before and after installing this or Vista SP1 might shed some light into the X2 mystery. Has anything similar got released on XP though or in a beta form?
