MS Windows Snipping Tool stand-alone download?

Is there anywhere you can download a stand-alone installer for the old Snipping Tool which was binned by MS recently?

It's being replaced by a modern app in the latest version of Windows 10.

I use Lightscreen at work. It's lightweight and expands on the snipping tool with some extra features (can adjust the crop after it's been snipped). It does however miss the highlighting and pen tools.

It's still there on my system. I don't recall doing an upgrade. I might have done though.

forgive me I am a tad confused, I see no difference between the version on my work laptop (win7 pro) and home pc (win10 pro) was it removed in win8?

Removed/replaced in 1809.

All of my computers, and all of those that I deal with, are still on 1803, and will stay that way until I'm forced to upgrade. Hopefully by then they'll have knocked the most serious bugs out of 1809.

I'm on 1809 and it's still there. I get a message saying it's going to be moved but it still works. The new tool seems to do everything the old one did except capture individual windows.

They changed it? I use it daily and haven't noticed or even had a notice and I'm sure I'm on latest.
