Stelly has, rather generously, offered me use of his borgs and his SMP client. So he'll now face the prospect of stomping himself in the next few weeks! :) Hopefully our combined efforts will generate a 24hr average of approximately 4.5K

stelly, why would you do that? :) ms9cw has been on mine and windles tail for the past couple of days, now he's gonna breeze past us like we wernt even trying (lol to be fair, he was gonna do that anyway with his current output lol this just sprinkles salt behind him as he goes to add a bit more pain and insult)

Wouldn't it just be easier to join someone at the top (that agreed to it)? Vengeance would be sweeeeet and to the tune of several hundred thousand. :cool:
 
In two minds about this....

On the one hand I'm very tempted to offer an open door to all and any that want to join the lemon farm. ;) I've got friendly with another team that host a sub stats site that tracks each pc as a separate enity within a single user ID (in my case lemonman) it's very useful to fault finding which of my office pc's are not folding as planned and as it's web based I can monitor work from home and vice-versa :D
However it doesn't log rolling stats just what currently happening every 20 min's. Linky

On the other hand, their was much talk reciently of a sub team thread here which personally I'm more in favour of as the main stats sites would do all the hard work.

Ok as of tomorrow I'm starting a single crunchers team with my home pc (leaving the office to carry on under lemonman) If any one would like to join me you are most welcome. I personally prefir only one cruncher per person but I'm not really into hard and fast rules so it's an optional rule. - anyone is welcome to join, but obviously we'll be starting at zero.

Off to start a new thread.....

How would they feel about having 300 ish computers using that.
 
Hey All,

After much consideration on my part I decided that this would be fun and I wanted to see how things went... I was running a single machine but now I'm running a few more under ms9cw, which are the following

4300 (Ubuntu) - SMP Linux Client
Pentium D - two normal Clients
x6800 (3.8Ghz) - two normal Clients
6300 - two normal Clients
T2050 - two normal Clients
AMD 3000+ - running one Client


... I thought of joining ms9cw as he is catching me up anyway and I have been thinking about joining someone for sometime now... and he is low enough to make this fun ;)

I'm hoping that these help boost ms9cw output a lot... but I guess that I will see what happens in the following weeks but I know that I have already uploaded a 1,500 and a 500 pointer which is cool...

To tell you the truth the reason that I started folding is that my mum got cancer of the bladder with only a 25% chance of surviving this hit me pretty hard and resorted to drinking (being told by my friends that if I didnt stop drinking I would be dead within 2 years) when I wasn't looking after my three younger sisters... but she did survive and helped make us a stronger family unit, I think it does that after realising how close she was to not being here... waiting for her while she had 3 major operations, and see my father cry for the first time ever...

Now I fold to help hopefully better understand and cure cancer and other diseases of the world so that people will not have to go through what I had to go through... well what I can remember of it...
