MSCONFIG problem can't change it

Seems my MSCONFIG is playing up

Noticed the last 3 days its been booting up in selective start up mode with everything ticked to start.
I try to select Normal boot with only what I want ticked but after every reboot its back to selective with everything.

Can anyone help me fix this please ?

Selective is normal behaviour if you have adjusted any service to Disabled or any other statrup parameter to anything but 'Default'

You cannot have a normal startup if you have disabled a service it wants to run normally in the services console.

OK seems fair.

What about every time I boot it re ticks everything ?

Selecting Normal would re-enable all startup items.

Leave it on selective, select what you want to startup and untick what you do not and leave it.

The Selective option will then have a Square selection in it's tickbox (meaning only some items are selected and not all)

No reason why on next reboot any of your options should change, just do not re-select normal as it will clear your selections.
