MSI 2080ti Seahawk EK-X - MSI: "there's no warranty on components".

Bear in mind you have to document he fault but you have a fair case to demand it is repaired at The very least
Our of interest you have reinstalled the system to eliminate that right ?

I bought a 1080ti couple of years back that then bricked, sent to MSI they sent me a new one back, card was off FB marketplace second hand, no receipt no anything, just a polite beg and they sorted it and sent it back. Took about 2 months but was a really good service. I hope they get it sorted mate.

It was a "business" but... nothing too serious or bricks n mortar. Ebay's only got 6 months of decent records then it gets very sketchy. Have poked the seller, not heard much back so... having to try for the "you built it, law says..." route.
The first 60 days is return for refund, day 61 to 6 months is fair exchange with retailer, 6-12 is depreciated value (or same model) with retailer. At that point their involvement is voluntary beyond.
It falls back on manufacturers warranty at that point, the retailer if they get involved would only be facilitating the same.

That's.... how I understood it anyway having a read up.

Now sure, in this case, it's an ebay purchase, sure and... stuff gets rather muddied. If nothing else the 24 months from point of manufacture forced by EU should apply?
