MSI 3070 Ventus Overclocking issues

Afternoon all!

I was fortunate enough to pick up a 3070 Ventus

Been doing some tinkering on afterburner to squeeze a bit of extra juice out of it.

The autotune on Afterburner refuses to find a stable overclock, has anyone else come across this?
I've looked into powering the device, and I've picked up a second 8 pin rather then just the daisy chain off of one cable. Yet to test that, as waiting for it to arrive, but was interesting to know if anyone else was having similar issues?

I wouldn't bother with auto oc. Just up the power target to the max, push the RAM as far as it will go without losing performance and then undervolt it.

In a nutshell its crap. I have tried to use it with my old Titan Xp, and my 3080 , either crashes or doesn't find a stable clock yet both overclocked just fine manually.

Thanks all. I've upgraded from a 1070, which was really easy to auto tune on the after burner. Guess I'll just have to manually tweak it!
