Are they any good over my hd 5770 ?

I have been offered one at a good price and don't know if it's going to be a good upgrade or not.

What you think ?

The 6850 should be around 50-70% faster than the 5770.

Depends on how much you are paying, and if your CPU is not gonna bottleneck it. If you CPU is not a limitation, it would be better paying a bit more jumping onto 7850 2GB instead (if we were talking about 2nd hand price of £50-£60 for the 6850 vs £90-£100 for the 7850 2GB).

Well iv been offered it at 35.

And my cpu is a fx6300 @ 4.1.

For £35 i would definitely go for it. After selling your 5770 it wont cost you much at all.

Iv gone for it . Havnt installed it yet as i want to get a new cooler for it first.
