Hey guys,
I am having a bit of trouble setting up dual monitors on my pc with the MSI 6950 Twin FrozR card. My setup before this card (on my 4870x2) was to use two VGA monitor cables through DVI converters and this worked fine.
Have recently bought the MSI 6950 and can connect either monitor (one of which is quite old) via the VGA cable to the 'top' DVI port via an adapter. The first issue as I understand it, is that you cannot connect two monitors from VGA via DVI adapters through the 6950.
My main monitor has a HDMI port on the back, so I bought a HDMI-HDMI cable and plugged it into the back of the card, but it just doesnt work!!! Can anyone help with this?
The plan was to have my main monitor via HDMI and the second older monitor (VGA only) in the VGA-DVI connection.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
