Hi my new Msi 6970 Oc died after 1 week (i was happy with it)...

So i have Rma,d it ! should i get another one or put some money to it and get something else ? (i did have a 5850 which i sold)

Would a 7870 not be better but i am leaning toward a 7950/70 ?

It depends what you're after.

An overclocked HD 7850 will be as good, if not better, than the HD 6970.

The HD 7870 has less overclocking headroom so a fully overclocked HD 7850 isn't that far behind an overclocked HD 7870.

An overclocked HD 7950 would be better but is going to cost ~£100 more.
