Hi
Only just bought all my pc gear and built it last week but only really used it the past 2 days
I first noticed the msi 770 making a buzzing noise when i did that windows score thingy, but then it went
But tonight noticed it happen a few times on borderlands 2
Playing it on ultra but with some settings high/medium, at 1080p on my 22" tv in bedroom?
Is my week old 770 knackered?
My power supply is also the cheaper Evga 600b if that makes any difference

The temps and gpu usage are fine as well

Can you upload some audio of it to youtube? It could be coil whine, if it is its normal.

Will try tomorrow now, it wasnt screaming etc like i have heard on some coil whine videos.
Its hard to explain, just sounds like a buzzing noise... I am sitting next to a lamp that makes a similar noise.
The pc is a good 2 metres away from me, i can hear it, its not loud etc just noticeable..
Will try and upload a video tomorrow

Just done a test for half an hour
Now borderlands 2 played ok, so did the windows experience or whatever it is called test
Its 1 minute long, but after 20 seconds you will get the idea
That noise is different to what i was getting playing borderlands 2 last night, which like i said was a buzzing noise
If it makes that noise tonight ill upload a video of that

Ok it was doing my head in
Its alway on borderlands 2 when i go to the shop/vending machines or if i open the weapon selection menu
Now, took side panel off and listened there is a tiny amount of noise from the 770, but the buzzing/slash ticking is from the evga 600w power supply....
Could it possibly of been the power supply all along?
