MSI 780 ti Twin Frozr Edition aftermarket cooling

Hi Guys,

Anyone know if the MSI GTX 780 ti twin frozr is a reference board? and if so would an Arctic Accelero Hybrid II - 120mm fit onto it?

Mind if i ask, are you having temp issues? The cooler on the gaming 780ti is a very good one. Ive got two twin frozr cooled cards here, (650ti and 980ti) both run really cool and quiet.

its not so much the cooling, however the fans have started to rattle when fan speed starts to go over 45%

the board its self rattles also. i think the pcb has bowed. if i pus up on the corner closet to the power plugs on the gpu the rattling dies down

Ahh, i assume the card was sagging down at the back end. You can buy a purpose made jack to support cards that sag. Its known as a powercolor power jack. But a peice of wood cut to the required length will do the same job.

just tried that thanks that's helped with some of the vibration. however it appears to just be the fan closest to the rear case that vibrates as opposed to the fan closest to the power plugs

are these easy to take apart to reoil etc?

If not, then its toss up between these coolers, unfortunately I don't have enough room for a 240 mm radiator for it so will have to be a 120mm:
