MSI 7850 problem, any ideas?

Hi all,

I just built a new PC for my brother; W8 Pro, i5 3550K, MSI 7850 1GB, Asus Z77 V, 8GB of Samsung RAM, a Samsung SSD and a 1TB HDD. The PC was working fine for the past week and a half until last night: my brother put it on standby and now there's no output from the card. I've done the following to narrow things down:

- I swapped my 5770 into the new rig, outputs fine
- I put the 7850 into mine (2500K, 8GB, Asus P8P67, W7 Pro), no output there
- The integrated GPU still outputs
- Tried using the HDMI out on the 7850, no output there
- Used the other PCI-E slot, no output
- CMOS reset didn't do anything
- The 7850 still draws power from the PSU (in both rigs) though since the fans are spinning

Any help would be appreciated, otherwise I'll have to send it back/have it replaced!

If you've tested it in two different PCs and it's dead, I think it's time to RMA it.
