Hi all,
I posted a thread last night in the motherboard section as I was having issue's with setting up my new build. However I now think this is down to the graphics card.
Okay, so I am using a Asus Maximus V gene with an i5 3570k, 8gb DDR3 ram and nzxt hale 80 550w psu.
When I use the onboard graphics everything works fine. The motherboard reads code A0, which it is supposed to, and all is good in life.
However, if I put the graphics card in it won't boot. It gets stuck on error code B2. I have tried the the card in both PCIe slots and just get the same. The card gets power to it as the fans turn as soon as the system comes on.
I have updated the BIOS on the motherboard to the latest version and have tried a my old 700w PSU from my old system. I can't test the card in another m/c as I don't have, or know anyone, that has one. I also can't test the PCIe slots as I don't have a spare card, or know anyone that has one.
Anything else you can suggest that I could try, or what to do now?
Cheers, Dave.
