Hi there I am trying to use afterburner to overclock my card, however my voltage control doesnt seem to be taking affect. I can adjust clocks and seeminly the volts too but whenever i load an application like kompbuster it still shows as default 1.17 or whatever it is.

Also can comfirn that the voltage is not increasing as I cant overclock past 1150mhz. Are there any other software applications to let me do it?

Any suggestions?

you need to throw a file into the afterburner directory, give me a min pretty sure i have it in my dropbox :)

Here is what to do:

1. Add THIS file into the afterburner directory (program Files> MSI Afterburner)
2. Go to the shortcut for afterburner, right click and properties.
3. In the target line box add /XCL (will look something like afterburner.exe" /XCL)
4. Open MSI AB, you will get a pop up saying clocks changes or something to that effect.
5. Go back to the shortcut for afterburner, remove the '/XCL' prefix
6. Reboot
7. Enjoy fully unlocked core clocks & memory clocks, remember to enable voltage control and monitoring in Afterburners settings (in general tab I think)

Hope that helps (and that I haven't missed anything)

Thanks for the help. I didnt have that file before so installed it and followed your instructions, however its still not applying the new voltage settings.

I think il try reinstalling afterburner or reverting to older catalysts and try again when i get home.
