Hello all, finally decided to put my 7970s under water and have settled on;

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-239-EK&groupid=962&catid=1520&subcat=2327

Few questions;

1) do these come with thermal paste like their cpu blocks do? (If not would my artic silver 5 be ok to use?)
2) do they include the blanking plugs?
3) I presume eks cooling configerator can be trusted?

I have googled but I'm a bit unsure as description only mentions block and screws so better safe than sorry.

Cheers :)

1 - No (yes)
2 - Yes
3 - Most of the time. I bought a 7970 for an R9 280X that said was reference ... it wasn't but I would have thought for an existing 7970 then it should be ok.

1. Yes, for VRMs and memory. Paste is needed for core. (Edit: Not paste, but pads - misread)
2. Yes. Though i'm pretty sure that block only has 2 G 1/4 threads so no blanking plugs are required (once setup the sit on the top and not the side)
3. Yes.

You've raised a good point there tonester with the connections on the block. I think ill have to go the heatkiller route to keep the tubing clean :)
