Hi guys upgraded my mobo as old board had no vrm heat sinks and got toasty, anyways i have purchased the msi a88xm gaming and im in a pickle.

in bios i cant find anywhere to alter llc and phase control ect at all, the manual says there all under a setting called DigitALL power

i have been through every setting a hundred times and cant find them at all any ideas

im smashing my head against wall

Unless something is wrong, that setting is to be found in the OC section. Are you using mouse or keyboard arrow keys to scroll in the BIOS? If the former, try the latter, to make sure you don't miss anything near the bottom.

Thanks for reply turns out that the MSI GAMING board doesn't have support for llc and phase control and all those settings found a youtube video on it. Apparently that manual is used for more than one mobo ie the full atc version of my micro grrr

Very disappointed in msi first time using the for a mobo and last what's the point in having a gaming board claiming all these great overclock features and there pointless, voltages jump all of place cant get stable at all

Do you think I can return it to Overclockers for a refund?

Ah, that explains it.

Give them a call, or post in the Customer Service forum (I find the latter is easier than by phone to keep track of everything, and to give them time to make a decision, rather than get the standard response to something on a phone call). Maybe they can also help you find a mobo with the features you want.

i will give forum a shout msi didnt make it very clear they should really make this obvious to people i would never have brought it if i had known!!

i just want the best micro atx board for overclocking my 7850k
