Since re-installing windows I can't get the core and memory sliders to apply an overclock on my 2 windforce 7970's when i hit apply they re-set to 0.

I've tried the latest release of afterburner and the previous version also tried 12.6 and 12.7 beta drivers.

Yes I have entered the required text to enable overclocking.

It worked before re-installing windows.

Any ideas fellas?

Hi

I had the same issue when I upgraded afterburner for my 5850. There is a dll that is missing from new installations of the catalyst driver called atipdlxx.dll and thats what you need to set the overclock.

Luckily I had a copy of the file lurking around in a windows folder, I just took the latest version of it and copied it to catalyst installation folder. As soon as it was in there afterburner worked without a reboot needed.

Hope that helps
