Hi guys. I've finally got my machine up and running and I am ready to start overclocking, starting with my GPU. I have never overclocked before, and I am using MSI Afterburner to do it. Right now I am not interested in adjusting the voltage as I am not totally sure of what I am doing.

I am using a GTX560TI which apparently has stock values of 822MHz Core and 1645MHz Shader but I am using the MSI GTX560TI Hawk Twin Frozr III which defaults at Core 950MHz and Shader 1900MHz.

As this card seems to already be overclocked quite far, how much can I push it?

I have had a little bit of a play about and have the Core at 1000MHz and the Shader at 2000MHz and it runs stable at 65°C during a 10 minute MSI Kombustor 'Xtreme burn-in'.

Should I continue to push it until it becomes unstable or should I leave it and start pushing the Memory speed? What sort of overclock can expect to get, and would anyone else like to share their experiences overclocking this card?

Also, I am interested in whether anyone uses MSI Afterburner's user-defined fan controls and how people have chosen to have it set out. I cannot stand the sound of my fan once it goes over 60% but I don't want to damage the card with higher temperatures.

So I've managed to push my card to 1050MHz Core and 2100 Shader and it's running stable at 59°C now (I've played around with my case to improve the airflow). If I push it to 1060MHz Core it becomes unstable. I've seen a lot of people say they've struggled to get it above 1GHz without boosting the voltage up. It's currently at 1.05V, can I push it much more safely, and should I consider now overclocking the card's memory or is it now worth it?

Has anyone else managed to overclock this card and if so what results did you get?
