MSI Afterburner - Video Record Settings

I had my recording settings set to 60 FPS though, and Guild Wars obviously runs at 60 FPS with Vsync on comfortably.

But the recording of the elf party was still glitchy :(

Try recording onto a seperate H/D and/or select 30fps .... I know 60 should be a lot smoother but it's just the way it comes out so it doesn't lag your game.

Game is running off my Raid 0 D drive, and video capture is being saved to a 2 Tb E drive.

I set MSI afterburner to 30 fps, and it was even glitchier ... maybe its a problem with SLI?

Oh - then sorry I've no idea :(

On another note ....

Does anyone know how to get the footage to work in Sony Vegas 10? The sound is there but there's no video. Do I have to change the codec and if so is there any free programs to do so? I've recorded stacks of footage with MJPG Compression.

It does however work in Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 ... but I'm really familiar with Sony vegas so I'd rather stick with what I know.

Thanks, I'm downloading the latest beta.

My videos will always have a box around them because I have a 1920x1200 monitor :(

Wanted to try this out, but the beta won't let me overclock so had to go back to 1.6.1 release. Anyone else have the same issue?

Gave this a go last night with BC2 and struggled at first with choppy videos and fps. In the end it seemed to be because I had it set to 25fps. 30fps seems to of sorted it and I can write videos to the NAS in 1080p no problem. Alost seems to have vsync effect though, locking fps in game to 60.

Just need to have a go at uploading them now.
