I think you should be fine.

There are some problems when a certain card/brand don't use the reference design of a particular card, then you have slightly limited options like no voltage control or something. But these problems are pretty rare.

Yes you can, however the 13mhz overclock is pretty bad, get a his and you shall get a free copy of mw2. Just got mine this morning, however did not get a voucher code though, shall web note them later as long as this card works ,looks good atm it was not posting so I shall be happy when I can finally fire up windows 7.

My old card was really choppy with 1080p playback let alone games, so it is gonna be a massive difference.

thanks guys, ill stick with the asus then cause i like the idea of voltage tweaking without losing warranty (if i understand that bit right).

chaosdestro, i read elsewhere on the forum that ocuk didnt have stock of the vouchers when sending the cards, but if u send a web note they will send out the vouchers when they have them.

You can add the VDC, like my Asus V2.
And that's generally the custom ones, like the V2.

But not like my 4890 which just uses a different config of the dual 1165 which is not recognised by Afterburner at all, even though the 1165 is supported by Afterburner.
