Is it possible to reduce the minimum speed. At the moment it is 40% and would like to change this to 30%, but cannot find anyway of doing this

Thanks

Yeah you go the Config file in the AfterB launch location and open it in notepad, and change something like

"unnofficial overclocking 0"

to

"unnofficial overclocking 1"

Atleast i think that works.

you need to set a new fan profile in Afterburner, go to settings/Fan/ tick Enable user defined fan control, and create yor own profile

Are you refering to the fan speed or GPU speed?
If your talking about the GPU speed I too would really like to know then you could get a profile set up similar to powerplay on ATI cards.

Make sure the fan is set at 'auto' in the main gui

Set the fan curve in the prefs. Click ok.

Click 'apply' in the main gui & save it to a profile.

Close afterburner & then restart it. Should work after that.

The MSI Twinfrozr coolers have this, they wont go below 40%.

In the fan profile setting, you shold be able to see two dotted yellow lines at 40% and 100%. Those are the min / max for your card.

+1 for afterburner, very complete little app, overclocking, fan control and on screen monitoring all in one package.

Afterburner 2.1 will also include video capture in games.

Free fraps for everyone, bye bye fraps :)

The stuff is in the beta version, but deactivated and not working :(
