Apologies if this is a ridiculous question, as I feel the answer is right in front of me but I just can’t see it - like one of those is the power switched on scenarios.

Anyway, could anyone tell me how I connect MSI afterburner to my rig, when I connect my monitor all that is displayed is the mining configurations, when I’m watching the tutorials there’s no specific instructions how to do this, they are just connected. I have downloaded the programme on my laptop but I can’t connect this to my gpu remotely so I feel stumped at the moment. I am currently using simple mining and my hash rate and watt usage is terrible where I’m basically breaking even and more than likely losing out next month when the energy prices rise “again”.

Thankyou to any person who can help me with this.

I might be misunderstanding the question, but MSI afterburner is just a program for Windows. Are you using a mining OS? If so, I think they have their own tools for monitoring and changing driver settings?

I would just use a normal windows os and nicehash if you're new to mining. That way you can use afterburner with no issues.

What you're trying to achieve using a mining os is not possible as far as I know as afterburner can't control the gpu remotely from another operating system. It hooks into the driver/api
