First the bad news - it won't fit in my case:(
At 305mm or 12" long plus it has 3 power connectors:
2 x 8 pin & 1 x 6 pin requiring at least a 700w PSU with 42amps on the 12v rail.
Dual or triple SLi:eek:
God knows what the price will be.
For more info see here http://www.nvnews.net/

:eek::eek: Allmost choked on me cornflakes...want want want, on the subject of want i am fresh out of toys, can anyone loan me a few i have nowt left to chuck out me pram....no seti work sniff sniff :(

The things MSI come up with! Just think of the shader clocks - a SIMD orgasm right there. Running this beast would throw any economy out of the window, never mind sanity, but there is bound to be a few water cooling loops on this team which will gladly give this GTX a home. :D

If you can find a block to fit the damn thing. Sounds decidedly non-standard in the pcb department.

you can remove the air cooler as this cools the GPU only (mainly) and leave the VRM and VRAM cooling still attached to cool them passively with a EK universal GPU block cooling the GPU. Would be sweet!

Are those universal blocks any good? I quite like the idea of not having to buy a new full block every time I change up my graphics cards.

Some people swear by them. Not exactly the same Skinnee included the EVGA block one in the group test for GTX480 blocks.

Summary is it keeps the core nice and cool but watch the VRM temps!
