I'm having confusing readings on my UK brought msi apache pro GE72VR 6RF.

MSI GE72VR 6RF(Apache Pro)-091UK
Intel Core i7-6700HQ Quad Core Processor
17.3" Full HD Screen
Microsoft Windows 10 Home 64-bit
16GB DDR4 RAM
128GB SSD + 2000GB HDD
DVD ReWriter
Dedicated GeForce GTX 1060 6GB Graphics
USB3 | HDMI | Bluetooth | DisplayPort
Backlit Keyboard
2 Year MSI Warranty
9S7-179B11-091

According to the spec sheet my video card has 6gb of dedicated Vram, but GPU-z and nvidia control panel is reporting 3072mb worth??
The confusing part is that my shader count in gpu-z reports as 1280 unified and not 1152 you would come to have with the 3gb version of this card.

Also if you click lookup on gpu-z it directs me to the packs of the 6gb 1060 card.

probably the gpu-z software not recognising about 4gb

I remember a similar issue in the past a update to either the driver or the gpu-z software fixed it for me on a 780 card i had in the past
