Which memory do people have with this board and what speeds have you got it running at?

Currently using 4x4gb cosrair stick that will not go above 2666 no matter what I try so looking to replace it with 2x8gb.

I have Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz C16 Memory Kit - White.

I've had it running at 2933mhz using the Memory Try It option in the motherboard (XMP profiles wouldn't work). The issue I have with running this speed is that if I restart, I will often get a boot loop. Sometimes it boots to the OS after 2-3 tries, the RAM is set at the right speed and all performance benchmark tools I've tried do not cause any crashes - ran stable for >1 week playing games. However sometimes it keeps boot looping, then sets the RAM back to the stock speed.

I tested again today with 2800mhz (Memory Try It), and this seems to clear up the boot loop issue. I'll probably stick with this speed for now.

Running the latest beta bios (1.71) on this mobo.

I'm having this same problem with this stuff for a clients build

I tried to run memory at 2933 but it kept looping as you mentioned and the only way to get around it was to shut off at the PSU, turn PSU off, press start button on case to clear power, then turn on the PSU again and reboot. It's doing my head in. I flash to the 1.70 bios beforehand and I can't get it to run 2933. Would you suggest running at 2800 then? I'm not a fan of this mobo, the BIOS is hard to work out.

I can't seem to load the XMP profiles anywhere either, even though it states the options if I do 3000,2933 etc.

I've not tried the MEMORY TRY IT thing, what is it and is it easy enough to use???

Ryzen 5 1600 hexcore cou, that RAM as posted above and the tomahawk MOBO is what I'm using.

Give it a go. Load defaults, then go to the OC section, click Memory Try It !, choose Samsung (to begin with) and then the second 3000MHz option with looser timings (CAS 16 I think).

Team Group Dark Pro "8 Pack Edition" 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-25600C14 3200MHz

I got these in the end, they dropped straight in at 3200MHz no bother at all.
