Hi
Looking for a low latency ram 3600mhz 16gb to pair with my board and ryzen 7 3700x. Was looking at the
TEAM GROUP 8PACK EDITION 16GB (2X8GB) DDR4 PC4-28800C16 3600MHZ DUAL CHANNEL KIT - BLACK.
Would this be compatible as it's not on the QVL list.

Yes they will be compatible, the mobo will run the memory just fine. Bare in mind, mobo makers can't test every last memory out there, so just use QVL's as a guide rather then gospel. Should be as simple as just setting xmp and off you go.

I have 8 Packs extreem 4000mhz sticks running on my tomahawk max just fine, so i can't see there being and issue with the ones you have chosen.

Thanks to you both for the advice, wouldn't you know it just went back up in price after being on sale. Will be buying it the end of the month, so fingers crossed it goes back down in price.

I have the B450 tomahawk max and went for the 8pack 3200/14 version as it was cheaper and just manual overclocked it to 3800/14.

Cheers was gonna ask if the cl14 kit would work, I use a 1080p monitor and want the fps boost these ram offer, cheaper than upgrading Gpu.

So long as your prepared to manually overclock then just grab which ever 8pack kit is on offer/cheapest and you will get a lot more performance than just with xmp.

For reference the 8pack 3600/14 ripped kit at xmp scores around 250+ so as you can see there is a lot of extra performance left in the tank.

Wow that's impressive, I've the same mobo CPU and ram as you, the most I can get is, 3600mhz cl 15 2t or 3600mhz cl16 1t, what volts you setting?and did you set gear down mode?
Highest I went was 1.42.
Bit cheeky but anyway you could upload your bios settings, I got a bit confused trying to match from the calculator,

This was with 1.49v as up to 1.50 is fine with this ram so dont be scared to push a bit more voltage. the new ripped 3600/14 use 1.45 just with XMP enabled for example.

Gear down is enabled as it wouldn't even boot without.

Have you had to change soc voltage at all? I've increased it a little as I heard it can also help stability.
