MSI B450 TOMAHAWK Max

There are several shop in Denmark with the Tomahawk Max in stock so probably next week we will see much better availability.

Price seems to have gone up a few places since a day or two ago. No thanks. I think I'll wait instead, or get something else.

That's a real shame they've jacked the prices up, I bought for £98.99 so hopefully they'll drop back to under £100.

OCUK has it listed £99.95 at the moment so fingers crossed they get stock, I'd jump as soon as they get them in.

What processors can this board handle?

I'm thinking this board with a 3800x and some decent RAM.

The best value with potential to overclock to 3600mhz has got to be the ballistix sport LT 3200mhz for me, not the premium B die but not the cheap stuff either, most people are getting atleast 3600mhz and upto 3733mhz. very cheap too too. Probably the best buy

This is a bloody good deal for premium ram as well though, much better timmings than above and will definately overclock further

Rather than buying the best you can afford, I look at more as to what I need to enjoy 3-5 years of gaming and let it go as otherwise it's an overkill imo and not to forget
there will always be new and improved tech right around the corner. I have a friend who updates his system every couple of years with the best money can buy, but there's
no real reason to do so other than to have "The Best" (sad).
