Msi Claw 8 AI+

Battery life and GPU performance look good but I find the detachable controllers and flip stand far too useful on the Go as I use it for far more than handheld gaming. Also so far the Go has had less issues than the others including the Claw which didn't have the greatest of launches.

Lol the legion go was put in this form so I followed suit

Apologies, I thought it was a mouse! :p

In my defense, you gave bugger all info about it, no description, zero links etc! :D

Aye specs are certainty good but when a Steamdeck is £300 - £500 odd, its a hard sell.

Depends on your usage - if pretty much purely handheld gaming then Steamdeck is hard to beat but my Go works well as a general entertainment system - in fact more often used for portable gaming hooked up to a bigger display and either using an external controller or keyboard and mouse than as a handheld hah. The CPU performance is also pretty decent so having Windows 11 means it can stand in for light productivity and other uses, etc.

Quite often I've got the controllers detached, flip stand out and using the Go to watch YouTube, etc.

I want to upgrade from the Steam Deck OLED. But I'm not sold on the Claw 8 given how the original turned out.

I'll most likely wait to see if Valve launch Steam Deck 2 later this year (I'm not holding out much hope though). Failing that, hopefully Lenovo get the Legion Go 2 to market this year (bonus points if they do a Steam OS version).

Almost all of my gaming is done on Deck now, so. I'm hungry for an upgrade.
