Hi, mine has 16gig of ddr5 4800 and I would like to upgrade to 32 gig. Has anyone done this at home and were there any issues?

MSI laptops are usually relatively straightforward to open but not exactly easy. Make sure you have a plastic pry tool to avoid damaging the casing. Sometimes it feels like you are going to break it as the casing tends to be on very tightly.

Don't be afraid to buy faster ram if it's around the same price. Even if you don't get the benefit now, It will still work and if you change the laptop at a later date it could be useful to have faster modules.

Thanks, I have seen some videos and will take a brave pill before starting. Normal pc`s no problem but I thought the laptop might be a bit tricky
